10-year Class Reunion
Saturday, August 19
Ten Pin Alley
The MHHS Class of 1996 10-year reunion will be held the evening of Saturday, August 19 at Ten Pin Alley in Fitchburg from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. We urge all classmates to consider attending, and all spouses/significant others are welcome, of course. We will be in the banquet facility at Ten Pin, with hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided (but not a full dinner). We will have karaoke available for a portion of the evening, and volleyball as well, weather permitting. A class picture is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
The cost will be $15 per person or $30 for couples. At one time, we did have a healthy reserve in our class account, but that has since evaporated and we are starting from scratch. The per-person cost covers several expenses that go along with the event, including room rental, food and beverage, entertainment, etc. If there are any leftover funds, they will remain in the class account to be applied to the next reunion. If anyone feels overly generous and would like to contribute to the cause, please contact Julie (Ryan) Ibinger.
We will also have an informal gathering from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Grundahl Park in Mt. Horeb. We thought this might be a good chance for those of us with kids to include the little ones in the day's activities, or even to catch any class members who had the afternoon free but could not make it in the evening.
For those who will be coming from out of town and looking for a place to stay, Ten Pin Alley is next door to the Country Inn hotel. If you haven't been around in a while and don't know where these places are, they are on Nesbitt Road, visible from Hwy 18-151 between Verona and Madison. Directions are also available on the Ten Pin Alley website.
We hope to see many of you there. Regardless of your plans to attend the reunion, please visit our Class of '96 connections page. Here, you will be asked to submit your contact information so that we are able to reach you with further announcements. Also, you will have the chance to fill out the Class of '96 survey, which will be compiled into a booklet of some sort, hopefully to be made available at the reunion. Again, regardless of your plans to attend the reunion, please take the time to fill both of these out, so that we can all catch up with each other.
